Echo Harbor at dusk: a post office, a workshop with a lit window, a glass greenhouse and two small houses along the quay. A lighthouse beam carries the knock, short, short, long. The mail cart rolls along its route to a mailbox with the flag up.
Echo Harbor. The dock light stays on, day and night.

The harbor

Twelve years of waiting mail

Twelve years ago, Echo Harbor’s previous courier went out with the mail and never came back. Since then the mail has piled up, and hardly anyone makes the trip.

Now the Postal Service has sent you.

— the Postal Service

Why does the Greenhouse go dark at 19:40? And where is that knock coming from? Short, short, long.

a small harbor, a few people:

  • Luna

Runs the post office and keeps the dock light on, day and night.

  • Milo

Can fix almost anything, but he and Hazel haven’t spoken in years.

  • Hazel

Keeps the Greenhouse, which goes dark at the same minute every night.

  • Kai

Captains the Longwing, and only runs out this far when the Postal Service pays.

How a delivery goes

Every delivery is a small route puzzle that takes a few minutes. Stop at any moment and pick up exactly where you left off.

  • Draw the whole route first

Plan the trip on a grid, one cell at a time. Drag back to erase part of it, and redraw as often as you like.

  • Then watch the mail cart go

Tap Go and the cart makes its rounds. Pass the right door and the letter is delivered. Anything that can’t be delivered comes back.

  • Residents keep their own hours

Each resident is home only at certain hours, and the home bar under a door shows when. Time only passes when your cart moves or waits, so there are no timers and no fail screens.

  • Every delivery changes the harbor

The workshop lights up again. A mailbox flag goes up. Everything you bring leaves its mark, and it’s still there the next time you open the game.

Easy to pick up, easy to put down

  • Plays fully offline. No account, no ads, no tracking.
  • Stuck? Hints are always free, and How to play explains every mark on the board.
  • Plays muted: every sound is also shown on screen, and clues never rely on color alone.
  • Left-handed mode, and a Reduce Motion option that also follows your system setting.
  • Light and dark appearance.
  • In English and Simplified Chinese.

Version 1.0

Part One: There’s Mail for You

The prologue and the first two chapters, about 40 to 60 minutes of story. It answers why the Greenhouse goes dark and where the knock comes from, and ends on a quiet night, with the harbor lit again. After that, the harbor stays open: the pigeonhole still has mail to deliver, and new delivery jobs keep coming.

More chapters will follow in future updates.

Screens from Part One

  • A route board: the whole route is drawn across the grid, and the bar under each door shows when the resident is home.
    No timers. Redraw anytime.
  • The mail cart on its second trip, between the depot and the workshop.
Then watch the mail cart go
  • A reply card from Kai after the first delivery.
    Every delivery gets a reply
  • The harbor map after Part One, with the places the courier has reopened.
    Watch the harbor light up
